How to use Encala

Encala is simple to use, and every serving adds healthy fat calories!

Directions for use:

Simply mix or blend Encala into your food and blended beverages. Talk with your healthcare professional to determine how many servings a day to incorporate into your diet to reach your daily calorie and weight goals. Add half a serving depending on the volume of food. Focus on your daily goal amount over the course of a day.

Consider placing your daily dose of Encala in a small container with a teaspoon, then use that container to add Encala with your meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day. When the container is empty—congratulations! You’ve consumed your daily dose of Encala.

Encala is a medical food that should be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional. It is a taste-neutral, plant-based, gluten-free powder.

Tips for using Encala:

Consider use in 

creamy foods and foods 
with multiple ingredients

Combine 1 tablespoon of Encala with 1 tablespoon of melted butter to add to a specific recipe, or prepare a batch using a 1 to 1 ratio of Encala to butter and store for future dishes

Try with sweet foods like 

ice cream, smoothies, 
milkshakes and flavored yogurt

Blend with the dry ingredients of your favorite pancake or waffle mix

After adding to water-based foods, 

such as applesauce, allow a few minutes before eating for best dissolvability
