Cheddar Cheese Sauce
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon wheat flour
½ cup cow’s milk
2 tablespoons Encala
½ box table cream
½ teaspoon salt
1 pinch black pepper
First, grate the cheddar cheese until you have about 1 cup grated cheddar cheese.
Melt butter in a pan.
Once melted, add flour, and stir until it becomes a paste.
Add the milk little by little, stirring with a whisk to break up the pieces of flour.
Keep stirring and you’ll notice that as the sauce heats up, it also thickens.
Once thickened, add 2 tablespoons of Encala and stir until smooth.
Add half a box of table cream to sauce.
Mix and add the grated cheese.
Continue stirring, without boiling, until the cheese melts completely.
Turn off the heat and season with salt and black pepper.
Serve this delicious cheddar cheese sauce! It’s perfect for dipping, or try it on hamburgers, nachos, and grilled cheese.
